A dance and type of music from Brazil originating from African slaves. The dance is very difficult as performed by Brazilians in comparison to formal "ballroom" dancing which is highly stylized. Men and women dance samba differently and together yet without touching. The dance for the women can be characterized as quick symmetrical feet movement with each foot twisting on the heel. This foot movement is accompanied by hip and shoulder gyrations creating a dance that agitates the entire body. Men also perform the same foot motion but not accompanied by violent hip and shoulder gyrations. Men dance around the women incorporating hops, jumps, and spins often accompanied by slapping of the hand on the heels.
Samba music is in 2/4 time (in two) with a high bass drum beat on the first beat, and the lower foundation beat on the second beat. The lower second beat must be the same or of lesser intensity than the first higher beat.

Samba and Salsa is a lot like it... We salsa dancers incorporate samba in our salsa sessions a lot b/c the movement is similar to dancing salsa... This involves lots of shaking of the hips, waist, arms and butt... I love dancing salsa, I think is one of the most sensual and exciting dances there is...

I spent the last 30 minutes cleaning my turtles tank, Cleaning the tank, cleaning the filter and carrying back buckets of dirty water to throw out in the toilet and replacing it with buckets of new clean water.
I also used a cloth to clean the inside and outside of the tank, then when I set it all up I took her and gave her a quick rinse before putting her in the tank. I do this so she doesn't dirty the clean water with dust from the floor; She's mostly hanging out around the house.
5 minutes after I out her in, I turn around and she POOPED!!! The little Biznitch pooped the water and all my hard work arghh!! I am so angry. I took a net and removed the turds and it's clean but the filter will have t o get rid of her poop mirk.

26Maddy, I basically here a drum and I wanna dance, it just gets in my blood. I love it sooo much, but I often wish I'd live in DR longer so I can be a better dancer. If you are not raised there you don't dance as well. When ever I go to the disco over there I am so jealous hehehe.

My father was avery quiet and romantic type so he didn't dance much, but he was a natural. he liked to sing ballads and slow-dance with mami.

31yeah Jenn, she did it twice! i was so angry and this morning she pooped again. It's my BF's fault, he told me to feed her more and that just let her bum loose. You see adult turtles are supposed to be fed everyother day a healthy amount. I found that she pooped too much and I was having to clean that tank all the time.
I figured that if I fed her every day instead tiny amounts that she would be better and it worked! She started pooping every 3 days and I was sooo happy hahahahaa.
I am putting her back on that schedule
